In 1955, Bruce and Sara Whatley started this company with a simple mission: serve people well, treat them fairly, and give more than you take. They believed in looking folks in the eye, keeping their word, and building something that would last.

Three generations later, we’re proud to carry that mission forward.

Bruce and Sara’s sons, Greg and Steve, spent their lives growing the company and deepening its roots in the communities we serve. Today, the next generation continues that work. Including their grandson, Slaton, who grew up around this business, learning not just how it runs, but why it matters.

As a family business, we’ve grown alongside the communities we serve. Many of our customers aren’t just names on invoices, they’re neighbors, friends, and familiar faces we see at ballfields, church, and the grocery store. These relationships, built over decades, are at the heart of what we do.

We’ve always believed that how you do business matters. Generosity, fairness, and care aren’t just nice words. They're the foundation this company was built on. Whether we’re delivering fuel to a construction site or helping a new store owner get started, we try to approach every customer with the same spirit our founders had when they opened the doors.
